Tooling for Open Access in Covenant University Library: Successes and Challenges
Dr. Promise Ifeoma Ilo is the Director, Centre for Learning Resources, Covenant University Ota. Before assuming this position, she had served as the Deputy Director of the same Centre, as well as the Head, Technical Services Department. Dr Ilo holds a PhD in Library and Information Science from the University of Nigeria Nsukka (2017).
Apart from her Professional and Administrative assignments, Dr Ilo has served the University in administrative capacities such as: Member, Convocation planning sub-committee, Member, NUC Accreditation Committee, Member, Faculty Support Programme, Member, Interview Panel for staff recruitment, Member, Faculty Support for Returning Students, among others.
She has published several articles in reputable local and international journals. Dr Ilo is a Certified Librarian of Nigeria (CLN), a member of the Nigeria Library Association (NLA), as well as the Cataloguing and Classification Section of the Nigerian Library Association. She has also served as a member of the Church Action Committee on HIV/AIDS (CACA) in the Diocese of Lagos West
